Fruitport, Michigan
Scope of Work
Our team had the pleasure of tackling a challenging home house wash job in Fruitport, Michigan. The primary focus of this project was addressing a significant buildup of lichen on the vinyl siding of the residence. Unlike standard organic growths such as green algae and mildew, which are commonly encountered and easily managed with our soft washing formula, lichen presents a unique challenge due to its stubborn nature.
Specific Challenges
Lichen is a composite organism made up of fungus and algae, often found in combination with other organic growths. In this particular case, the lichen buildup on all sides of the home was far more extensive than usual. While our soft washing formula does impact lichen, it does not simply "melt away" like other organic matter. Instead, it requires a careful balance of treatment with our formula followed by the application of safe, low-pressure washing to be effectively removed.
Execution
The meticulous process of removing the lichen extended the length of the job but did not deter our dedicated team. We approached the task methodically, ensuring that every area treated with our soft wash formula was subsequently given the necessary attention with low-pressure washing to safely and completely remove the lichen.
Results
The end result was highly successful. We were able to eradicate all traces of lichen and other organic growths, significantly improving the appearance of the home's exterior. The transformation was remarkable, as evidenced by the dramatic before-and-after pictures we captured.
Conclusion
This project in Fruitport, Michigan, stands as a testament to our ability to handle even the most challenging power washing tasks. Our expertise and commitment to using safe, effective methods ensured that the homeowner received the highest quality service and results.
